Out East

Pte. John Prescott and Pte. James Prescott, sons of Mrs. Paling the late Mr. Prescott. of York Cottages Pitt Street, Low Valley several years ago and are both out East.

Previously they worked at Mitchell Main Colliery.

They find the climate very hot, but have plenty of good food and fresh fruit.
