South Yorkshire Cricket League Dinner

There was a record gathering at the annual dinner of the South Yorkshire Cricket League at Wath-on-Dearne on Saturday.

Pictured below, from left to right: Mr. J. A. Braithwaite, J.P., chairman of Wath Urban Council; Mr. A. V. Holmes (who received the new ”South Yorkshire Times” Cup on behalf of Barnburgh), Dr. A. Johnston, Mr. H. Taylor (who received the Whitworth Cup on behalf of Darfield), Mr. 0. Heptinstall, League President, Mr. W. Rice (Wood Bros., who received the South Yorkshire League Cup on behalf of the Club), and Mr. W. P. Turner, a vice-president of the League and donor of the new trophy.
