On Monday at Darfield Parish Church, the Rector officiating, the marriage took place of Miss Muriel Dove, 106, New Street, Darfield, youngest daughter of Mr. George Henry Dove and the late Mrs. Dove, and Mr. Walter Taylor, second son of the late Mr. W. W. Taylor and Mrs. Taylor. Mexborough.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a gown of ivory silk ring velvet, and a long embroidered veil surmounted by a head-dress of orange blossom. She carried crimson roses and ferns.

Bridesmaids, were Misses Ada Scholey, Gertrude Taylor, Margaret Taylor, and Phyllis Dove, two of whom wore mauve silk taffeta dresses and matching coatees while the other two had chosen semi-crinoline dresses in pale pink silk taffeta. All wore silver shoes, matching dresses and carried showers of pink carnations and gladioli.
