Mr E Bouskill (Darfield) and Miss H.Hirst, (Cleckheaton)

Miss Hilda Firth, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hirst of Cleckheaton, and a member of the nursing staff of St. Luke’s Hospital, Bradford, was married at Darfield Wesley Chapel on Saturday to Mr. Edwin Bouskill, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J, Bouskill, Nanny Marr Road, Darfield.

The bridegroom was a missionary student for three years, and after completing his training joined the R.A.F. as a wireless operator.

Both are members of the Calvary Holiness Church, Barnsley.

The ceremony was choral. Given away by a cousin, Mr. George Threapleton, the bride wore a dress of ivory figured satin rut in period style, with a Tudor collar and long train. She wore a long embroidered net veil and halo of orange blossoms and carried rose pink chrysanthemums.
