A couple well known in dancing circles were married at Darfield Parish Church on Saturday—Miss Lottie Moorhouse, second daughter of the late Mr. Wm. Moorhouse, 5, Mars Lane, Goldthorpe, and Mr. John Charles Freeman, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Freeman, 77, York Cottages, Low Valley.

The bride, who was given away by her stepfather, Mr. H. J. Sills, wore a charming dress of shell pink satin, bridal veil fastened with a posy of forget-me-nots. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations and love in a mist. She was accompanied by eight bridesmaids, Misses Peggy Neale, Betty Bucklers, Betty Hunt, and Miss Elaine, who wore lovely dresses of pea green, and younger bridesmaids, Misses M. Nevitt, M. Sale, M. Edwards, and Jean Bailey, who were attired in pale blue dresses and shoes to match.

The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Geo. Peace, and Jack Peace acted as groomsman. The Rev. H. Sigel conducted the ceremony.
