Where Death Took a Holiday
Death took a holiday at Darfield.
At a meeting of the local authority last night it was stated that no death had been reported since the last meeting a month ago.
Darheld has a population nearly 6,000 and in the same period there had been 14 births.
The Council were just in time in congratulating themselves. Before the meeting ended the Medical Officer announced that there had been a death in the township that evening.
