Wombwell Main 63  Darfield  64 for 3

Darfield won their second match of the season against Wombwell Main on Saturday by, a margin of seven wickets. Wombwell Main failed against the bowling of Hartigan, and with C Loy (13) top scorer, knocked up on 63.

Darfield, after losing J Routledge with the score at eight, batted well and passed the visitor’s total for the loss of three wickets. W Bladen had 27 not out.

The Darfield bowler, F Hartigan, had a fine spell, taking 7 for 20, and the Darfleld stumper and captain. H Smith caught two and stumped one.
